I don’t have a better photo but here is Walter Koening at his last STLV appearance in 2024. I got to ask him at this panel if he was aware of the diversity in the cast when he was cast.
Good question! Do you remember his answer?
Not precisely. He did say that he was very aware.
George Takei's post.
So its just down to George and Bill now. Need to do another B5 rewatch in Walter’s honor.
One of his favorite TOS episodes was “Spectre of the Gun”.
Only hours after the Bauza family announced Eric had passed away. The Trek family has lost two members today. We are hurting.
RIP Conn Officer Snell…
Um… Snell was from “Fully Dilated”.
I was just going off of the actor’s Wikipedia page. Didn’t recognize the guy’s name. He apparently also voiced characters in the recent reboots of TMNT and Invader Zim
Noooooooooooooooooooooooo. Why must every Chekov pass too soon?
Looking for nuclear wessels in the stars.
I also remember him as the recurring Alien Oro character from The Starlost.
He was brilliant at adding being a little sinister in the role.
He brought that same energy to his role in B5.
