Yes, it could be better. But its also parents who need to get their shit together. I know so many who park their kids in front of tablet, phone or pc - not for a breather or a short distraction, but as the standard way to entertain kids.
Because they fear that the kids might be bored. But boredom is good, it gets creative juices flowing. However, you have to be hard and tell nagging kids no, and that is hard
If kids have been inducted to immediately get a phone whenever they whine a bit, there is not much school can do.

Or stay with plex, no shade.

105·1 year agoMy Jellyfin tunnels via traefik and cloudflared. However, the normal Android app somehow can’t login, but streamyfin works like a charm. I always had issues with plex, because it relied on their own service. But jellyfin now simply works, pretty nifty

6·1 year agoThis. Be on the lookout for company grade PCs, like from Dell, Lenovo or Fujitsu, they come in small form factors, offer decent upgradability and are low/on power consumption and noise (most of the time)

5·1 year agoI have a old optiplex 7010 with i7 and 8gig RAM. About 70€ on eBay. I upgraded it with a nvme SSD to bolt from (great tutorial here) and salvaged an old SATA HDD from an external case.
Currently runs 11+ container in proxmox without issues. Way beefier than a raspberry pi.
I also have room for 3 more hdds to put in a mergerfs system and 2 additional pcie slots für things like a faster LAN card or an additional SATA controller

Some are good, Avatar especially was done great. The bending mechanics integrate nicely and you had clear color matches for the heroes. Great set. Final fantastic was fun and a nice trip down memory lane.
But Spiderman or Turtles were a disappointment. Boring cards, not enough variation, basically luck of the draw. I might skip the upcoming marvel set, let’s see.
A lot of own sets shine in comparison. Lorwyn Eclipsed was so much fun, I love Bloomborrow and even the Strixhaven sets seem to be amazing for people who love combos.
But they also had some bombs as well. I never got into Aetherdrift or Karlov.
All in all, I think it highly depends on how much time and freedom they are allowed to have and how much time WOTC is willing to put into the sets.
