I still listen to it all the time via podcast. Grew up on that show, still laugh my ass off.
I just wish the podcast version wasn’t cut down. They cut out a couple calls and the interstitial music.

I miss Car Talk when I hear the guys randomly, most recently on eBay auto commercials.
NPR releases three episodes a week in their podcast. They’re only in like 1993 right now so it’ll be a while before they catch up.
I think the just crossed into 95. It’s a little difficult to track where they are.

Tom died in 2014 of Alzheimer’s, 2 years after they retired from the show.

I don’t know the context here, but my college roommate used to listen to Car Talk and I hated it. He hated when I watched Star Trek though, so we both just sucked it up and dealt with it like adults.
