It’s surprising the Daedalus class ships would be similar to Destiny. In the show Destiny seems to be massive.
Agreed, however some people have done side-by-side comparisons using measurable landmark details and it rings true. The biggest clues are the shuttle that docks on the outside, and the greenhouse. You can compare the greenhouse to the interior scenes, and it does turn out to be a very small greenhouse.
Destiny was certainly made out to be massive, and the Daedalus was sometimes crewed by a small handful of people and felt a little bit small.
