    This perfectly illustrates why I get more done when working from home. People popping into my office exactly like that when they could have just sent me an email.

      Classic extrovert time wasting, I couldn’t imagine going back to that environment and being productive

        So as an extrovert of sorts I want to first say it is definitely on us to remember your needs for productivity/just being comfortable at work. I am sorry some folks don’t respect that for you.

        To give a little more perspective here though if that’s ok: sometimes we need to externalize to process something or are kind of running an idea by you with the intention of seeing if there is pushback. A kind of gut check. I know I personally like to do this in person because it allows a little free flow conversation to happen if necessary. That being said, it’s on us to read the room/not always do this lol
