Google today reached the final milestone in a browser-extension transition that has been years in the making, all remaining Manifest V2 extensions were removed from the Chrome Web Store.
It’s hard to understand how anyone who was using uBO on Chrome was unaware this was coming. The Manifest V3 shit started years ago, and I expect uBO users to be more technically literate than the general public.
I think you are underestimating how many people are using ad blockers these days, and from those how many are using uBO. It has been pretty much the default recommendation for many years now for anyone asking the tech savvy person in their family which ad blocker they should use.

Sure use Librewolf or waterfox if you want, but people have to stop poisoning the well that is Firefox. That just pushes people back to chrome and edge.
