Well done. More and more companies are deploying LLM-written code in production environments. Might as well be honest about the results so we can learn what does and doesn’t work.

Yeah… I am not sure how much this incident has to do with facial recognition or media surveillance. You went to a large concert for a globally known artist, where you can reasonably expect hundreds of cameras owned by both individuals and the venue. You brought your side piece, started touching all up on her. Recall the Jumbotron, which is famously used to highlight couples. Then you act shocked… That’s how you win stupid prizes
My understanding is that Flatpaks are generally reserved for GUI applications and not command-line tools or servers. I’m not sure it’s the ideal format for Immich.
That said—and I’m probably going to get hate for this—there is an Immich snap package that does just what you’re looking for.

No one is entitled to anyone one else’s time or energy. If you message me, I’ll respond when it’s convenient for me.

If you have an iPhone, you can use the “scheduled summary” feature to delay notification delivery
Great news! PNG has always been my image format of choice due to its relatively good compression and support for transparency.

Dating and hookup apps are designed to be checked as frequently as possible, so that users can be shown advertisements or sold memberships. A great way to accomplish this is to play on people’s insecurities. Do yourself a favor and leave the house every once in a while

Biiiiiig shoutout to the Epson Ecotank. Tank-based printers are the only acceptable consumer printers

I’ve never heard of a “repair cafe” before. Would love to visit one of those!

That’s a bomb headline 😂

Have our attention spans deteriorated so much that something like this is actually profitable???

Love this! I’m always excited to see tools that use plain text formats

It’s great that there are new languages coming along that strike a balance between performance and safety. However, there’s always going to be a need for unsafe, low-level code. I work in semiconductors and occasionally have to write firmware and drivers for our devices. There’s no avoiding C in those environments.
Whether the new Apple Intelligence features are useful depends on who you ask. But I do greatly appreciate that inference is performed on-device. I think that’s a step in the right direction.

No thank you
Human-generated slop has been flooding Medium since forever

I’ve been using Zen Browser on macOS and Linux for a few months now. It’s a great browser experience, and I hope it gains traction. One thing it currently lacks that I’d like to see is a tab group feature like Chrome.

I thought it was going to be the Chinese lady who recorded, “the Bluetooth device is ready to pair” 😂
Finally! I’ve always been enamored with Swift, but Linux compatibility has been a consistent pain point. Can’t wait to give it a try
Not sure about their business model, but I love Glow. It’s great for browsing folders of Markdown files.
