Can’t tell if autocorrect or a joke about her lips.
I totally agree that it’s a ridiculous thing for them to implement, but saying that consent is required to say ‘hi’ is a bit over the top. I’m assuming the receiving party will still be able to block the sender of course since I’m pretty sure that’s required by Google and Apple.
But if everyone has a shitty experience with it, they won’t recommend it or even tell people to stay away from it. But if it works well, they’ll praise it, thus gaining more users.
Looks like the data from the-eye.eu/redarcs only goes up to the start of March. But luckily the folks at ArchiveTeam processed the post at a time before the comment was edited. It can be seen here.
I actually started a while before I commented. It seems that the comment isn’t actually in the file I downloaded. I might need to get the one before it that is triple the size… I’m not sure if I have the space for this.
It’s actually in r/homelab. I’m currently trying my damndest to recover the edited comments because useful information being removed really pisses me off.
Unfortunately, this comment is only 4 months old, which means it isn’t in the data that is separated nicely in individual subreddit files. Instead it requires parsing through a massive 151GB file. Let’s see how long it takes me to get the edited comments.
I can’t believe I read the whole thing
That’s so strange. I think I got really lucky with my €140 AOC monitor and my aliexpress adapter because I’m getting 1080p at 75hz.
Why is 4k@60hz capability necessary for 1080p@60hz?
Count yourself lucky because as you might imagine the bug makes it unusable. It even happens on regular mobile browsing.
You can see it happening here https://streamable.com/6alycz
Well, for starters there is no back button in the PWA on Android. Swiping from the right to go back completely refreshes the feed.
The entire feed is indeed resetting as if I refreshed it. I’m also on Android 13.
EDIT: Just browsing using chrome or firefox has the same result…
On Android it starts from the top again for me, completely reloads it actually…
How do you deal with losing your scrolling position every time you go back from viewing a comments page?
Oof, same on Android. That’s a complete deal breaker for using the PWA.
I feel like he’s the one bidding.
