Exactly this. What a terrible exercise in reductionism.

Man that is one vapid piece of writing. VR is definitely a thing - there’s a whole market of devices, accessories and apps and experiences made for it. If your articles hinges on the idea of dismissing something that exists because you think it’s pointless then your article is reductive. Reductive posts on forums are thing but paragraphs of reductive reasoning is proof that some people need to touch grass now and then. I have no interest in Vision Pro but complaining that VR is pointless isn’t what I need to do to justify my lack of interest.
Spectre TVs are cheap because they compete at a lower tier and are priced to attract buyers to what is essentially an unknown brand.
By far my favourite ST game is 25th Anniversary from Interplay released in 1992. I grew up in the 70s so TOS was very near and dear to me. In 92 I was reviewing games right at the peak of CD ROM and MS DOS gaming and 25th Anniversary really typified the best of both by including beautiful VGA graphics and a fantastic soundtrack complete with actual sounds from the series and the entire cast in their signature roles. Playing it was like being in the show, nothing else has quite replicated that feeling because it was like the cast was putting on a performance just for me.
I love how ROM clearly has a stroke or something between season 1 and 2. In the Keiko whinersode you see him interacting like a reasoning and capricious Ferenghi - well-spoken and smart.
Have you? Do you understand what MIDI2 offers? What you’re describing is unrelated to controlling synths and samplers. What you’re describing seems more like a mod file system where the samples are generated on the fly and that has all same limits that and generative art does.
Are they? Video compresses really well these days. How does replacing real footage with generated content that cannot be accurate better than accurate video?
Oh look a mouthy idiot on a tech forum who doesn’t understand that third parties supply drivers for third party - how incredibly boring, just like the mouthy idiot. https://sensible-side-buttons.archagon.net/
No I read and understood. Saying an accessibility feature, which needs to enabled, is hidden in the “abysmal” UI means that I’m not one lacking understanding. I even cited the evidence by linking the User Guide page for Mouse Keys.
Does it bother you that you can’t grasp a simple feature like Mouse Keys?

Your rant is completely misguided but I thought I would at least point out something useful.
Good luck getting Log working in 4K for recording video on Android.
It is a non-profit.
The Mozilla Corporation was established on August 3, 2005, to handle the revenue-related operations of the Mozilla Foundation. As a non-profit, the Mozilla Foundation is limited in terms of the types and amounts of revenue it can have. The Mozilla Corporation, as a taxable organization (essentially, a commercial operation), does not have to comply with such strict rules. Upon its creation, the Mozilla Corporation took over several areas from the Mozilla Foundation, including coordination and integration of the development of Firefox and Thunderbird (by the global free software community) and the management of relationships with businesses.
Why don’t you go right the fuck away then.
Yeah that’s not correct. Facebook bought into the oculus project in a share swap/cash deal with Lucky Palmer. Carmack joined the project later because he believes in VR in a big way and he contributed very important parts of the rendering methods to greatly improve performance.
