I used to read Star Trek novels in the 90s when TNG was at its peak(ish) and they had some ‘real’ authors writing books. Even some of those were stinkers.
While I’m a huge Stargate fan, I always imagined they would be pretty horrible and full of bad characterization
Same for me in the USA
I love how so far the answers act like “Catherine” doesn’t exist. Probably for the best. It was definitely the worst.
Besides the obvious of Carter, I’d say Major Paul Davis, assuming he gets a few promotions (which he is way overdue for), would be ideal.
He’s been around the program for a long time, trusted by the SGC and the Pentagon and knows how to work with both politicians and with field personnel.
I would think they have to have some kind of power source beyond jet fuel, mostly because the engines work in space. That means they either hold an incredible amount of both fuel and oxidizer to fly around that much, or they have some alien/high tech propulsion method.
I wish they hadn’t sold the Stargate “brick toy” license to some horrible knockoff years ago. I wonder if they could get the rights back?
As a professional marketer and advertiser, that’s not correct.
What keeps them from doing it is that most high-dollar advertisers don’t want their ads/brand appearing next to NSFW content.
It’s probably more difficult for Reddit to filter out NSFW ad impressions rather than just let ads appear anywhere. But advertisers demand it, so they have to do it to get the dollars.
“Status Report” is great, and the rest are good enough and the episode was really fun.
Glad they did it, but I’m not looking for an annual occurrence. I can love it and also say 1 is enough. Same with the Lower Decks crossover
