Also you may be avoiding Amazon, but end up giving them your business against your wishes.
I haven’t bought an HDD in a long time, but is the drive’s packaging itself not designed for shipping? The last one I bought had a ton of empty space and shock-absorbing packaging inside the box.
Hell, kids today don’t even number their lines anymore. What’s wrong with the world?
Happy, go, lucky
From this point on, all arrays are reverse-indexed.

15% has been the standard for many decades, and even that is supposed to be optional.
Turn the question back at yourself, please.
I asked a simple, polite question for clarification. I’m not arguing about anything.
Also, you assume they’ve actually increased the number to keep the mass valid
I would assume so, and with good reason. The laws for that stuff are strictly enforced. There’s a margin of error, but we’re talking a few grams. Enough that one fewer tortillas in the package would put it over that limit and litigation would ensue.
Once they run out of old packaging
Packaging is cheap af. They’re not trying to run out their old packaging. I’m not saying that it’s not a lead-up to shrinkflation, just that they don’t care about old, leftover packaging. More likely, IME working in packaging, would be that they’re waiting for someone working on the machines to dial in the settings before switching to a different roll of film.
Anyway, I wasn’t trying to argue anything in the first place, just trying to get a grasp of OP’s point since they didn’t really explain what the issue was.
I’m not understanding what the issue is. Is it because they’re smaller than they used to be?
That kind of packaging is made pre-printed, and the product is sold by weight, so if they made them smaller, they added more to the package to make up for it.
Sounds to me like you’re just looking to be irritated by something and you chose this.
This place ain’t perfect, but it’s a step up from reddit
KDE Connect might work. I’ve never tried it phone-to-phone, but it works great between PC, Steam Deck, and phone, as long as they are on the same network.
Federated content gets around that though.
I use Surfshark as well and have your problem 1, as I assume most VPN users do, but not your problem 2. My connection and speeds seem pretty stable, even allowing me to max out my connection many hours later.
Perhaps the issue is which server you’re connecting to.
Over time, as CPUs get better integrated graphics, it might be worth it. Essentially, if you’re fine with playing last-gen games at ok framerates and you don’t need maxed-out graphics, a mini PC is an option. If you want to play recent AAA blockbusters at 100fps, obviously it’s a big no. But the next generation might get you close to those results on current-gen games.
That looks like the narrowest tub I’ve ever seen. I assume they renovated the place and made the bathroom smaller to add an extra bedroom or something, and they just shrank the wall without changing the plumbing.
I learned of KDE Connect on here a couple months ago. I don’t use it a ton, but it’s really convenient for a few things. File transfers are easy, and you can send your clipboard between devices. That’s been useful for when I’m communicating with someone on my phone, I can look stuff up on my PC and share URLs easily.
Americans have the means to remove their tyrant, but I guess most of them don’t care enough to use those means.
