I’m sure they at least keep file checksums to use DRM filters on. u/l’d a DVD rip to Ytube and they blocked sharing from there re: copyright. they don’t pay artists much from what I’ve read. can’t easily d/l mp3s from youtube music like the old Gmusic. cds/dvds only last a few years so free backups kept on G servers seems a good use of my free 17Gig
