I don’t mean this condescendingly, but maybe that’s why they’re harder to train! Mine were completely free range except for one room they weren’t in alone and another they were never allowed in (didn’t want to rabbit proof)

Not to say I didn’t like the others but I ADORED the one that knew commands. They were all rescues but the other two were neglected and had health problems so it took awhile for them to warm up to me and they didn’t live as long. The very trained one was with me for 12 years and followed me everywhere. She’d come running when I got home from work to meet me at the door, too.

I’ve had 3 and they were all as trainable as a cat. Ran to me when I called their names, used the litter box, and knew the command “periscope”
One of them knew “spin” and “kisses,” too

I get how it would be frustrating for people who are reading it literally for the first time but I don’t think it was worded like that to be deceptive. Baked goods don’t have the most accurate names (Red Velvet comes to mind) and Chocolate Chocolate Chip/Double Chocolate Chip is a pretty common cookie

I tried on Android and PC then tried a different Google account in Chrome on my work laptop. I even made sure AI Overviews were enabled on the Labs page
Let “bigger is better” people waste their money like they already do on other products. It makes things cheaper for the rest of us while opening up new avenues for display technology in the future.
I agree that 1000hz is ridiculous, I have a 165hz monitor and can’t tell the difference past 120 or so. But that’s not really the point…this will never be a mainstream product but the technology may lead to useful advancements in the future

To make them not turn to dust in transit, they’d need to be in a hard shell sleeve wrapped in plastic like Oreos…and they’d still likely get crushed a bit.
I’m not a packaging engineer but that seems like more plastic with little added benefit
(I oftentimes add notes to where I took config bits even in my private my-eyes-only repos to have some breadcrumbs).
I’m not much of a coder anymore (and even then, it was self-taught hobby projects) but this is soooo good to do aside from just giving credit. I’d leave comments “I learned about this from here: (link)” so I could go back and reference it later.
I made a simple batch script to generate project folders at work and then a year later our standards changed…I would have had to start from scratch if not for the links I left because I forgot everything I learned

I’m all for reduxcing packaging but…ewww I’m not eating these from an unsealed box. Bugs love the crumbs…I can imagine they’d love the full bars, too. Not to mention rodents.

It’s easy. Do what the other commenter said and break them before opening. They suggest in half, I prefer in thirds. Then after you eat the solid pieces you dump the crumbs into your mouth. If they made them less crumbly, I don’t think they’d be as good.
The biggest offense is the cut line on the GitHub sticker…what the fuck is going on there? Why cut out around the H?
I wonder if progress will be slow and steady until we finally get there or if it will be a huge jump past the finish line like there was in the 80s. Either way, I don’t expect to see practical applications outside of the lab in my lifetime…but it’s really fun to watch the science advanced, even if it is all over my head
