  • I don’t know if this would fit your needs but I just have a wireguard server and when I travel I just connect to my VPN from my phone and start my access point …then all the other devices will be connected to my VPN through the phone access point (there is an option to let clients use VPN in access point settings) and watch jellyfin. For me this is the simplest and cheapest option I found.

Last time I tried aws, took me like four hours to figure that I had to borrow another IP address (different than the ip I received when created the instance) in order point it at my domain. Took me a long time find that option in the menu too

    Edit:added cohesion and some punctuation.

  • I’m a noobie:

    • portainer
    • pihole
    • wireguard server
    • jellyfin
    • youtube-dl
    • nextcloud
    • tor/privoxy
    • freshrss
    • minetest server
    • nginx proxy manager

All running locally on a 2008 lenovo core 2 duo with 2gb, 1 120gb SSD, 1 1tb HDD and 1 250gb HDD…couldn’t open the services to the web since my ISP blocks every port (except 52180 udp) even if I open them in the router sothey can change the double on a fixed IP withppen ports in their “enterprise” package
