I didn’t even know about the Python indentation thing until I was practically done learning it! I’m just used to copying whatever indentation scheme my coworkers are using, for consistency.

Former cashier here: not paid enough to argue with the person who does that on purpose. Maybe they even have a semi-good reason, like “the party starts in 5 minutes”.

Yeah! These Generation X programmers know nothing about low-level languages and electrical engineering. They’re compelled to put everything on the World Wide Web even when it’s unnecessary.

People who don’t program think it’s mostly typing. They see hackers on TV always furiously pounding on the keyboard, never staring at terminal outputs or talking to a rubber duck.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but I’d expect the scammer to already have any files backed up, immune to deletion.
