These are extremely common tea bags found all over the world that are well known to be made of plastic.

Are you impressed by the shape? Does it make you feel upper middle class that your tea bags are this shape? Poor people don’t drink tea made with bags of this shape! It’s fancy! Now drink your microplastics!
Are the 2 extra buttons for custom mapping or do they serve an intended purpose? What inputs do you recommend mapping the extra buttons on the left side to?
The leverless design allows you to move faster as well, if you’re holding back, you can also hold forward and then release back, meaning there’s no travel time between moving the stick from back to forward.
They’ll have to keep making the same juvenile milquetoast commentary and regurgitated gaming news on a different youtube channel. Half of their traffic can be attributed to Alanah and her drama that has nothing to do with their content.
We’re all here on Lemmy anyway, so it’s like shooting fish in a barrel.
This doesn’t sound like using AI was necessary to build. It tracks upsells and assigns bonuses? Just query a database after each shift.
I hate how easy it is to sell businesses on bullshit technology that could have been built by a high school student in an hour.
Without upgrading to a new enginge, something that the entire industry has been begging Bethesda to do now for at least a decade, ES6 will feel exactly the same as pretty much all of their games since Oblivion, with the same “go here, kill everything indiscriminately, pick up trinket, deliver trinket” gameplay loop. ES lore is top tier and I’m always down for more of that, but they need to update their shit.
If the company has to lose people to remain profitable, that sounds like the executive leadership didnt know what they were doing and should be replaced.
Disco Elysium has been dead in the water for years now. I won’t support the publisher anymore. The only reason why I didn’t pirate the game to begin with, even at the request of the OG dev, is because I don’t trust repacks or random .exe’s.
Maybe it’s an unpopular opinion given how reasonably popular Below Deck and SNW appear to be, but The Orville, for me, is the best post-2002 Trek thing. This is one of the reasons.
Not the issue. They’re a representative of the company on and off the clock. You can’t put your hands on someone shoplifting. The company has insurance for theft and an acceptable amount of shrink every quarter. OP made a bad mistake.
Shoplifters and the general public being potentially violent is a normal condition of working retail. Nothing of what occurred in OP’s story qualifies as an unsafe work environment.
They put their hands on the shoplifter. Game over unfortunately. I think most people here are sympathetic to OP’s plight, but it’s unfortunate that the law says otherwise.
You’re missing the point. HAD guns been involved, putting your hands on somebody can get really ugly really fast. You don’t want or need to take these chances with desperate people.
Here’s a doozy for ya: in Canada, a person can smash your window to break into your house, and if they cut themselves on the broken glass, they have every legal right to sue you and win.
I believe during discovery, the very well established culture and rules of “not chasing or putting hands on a shoplifter” would get this thrown out as a summary judgment.
Could the Borg adapt to a disintegration field? Would an energy ball penetrate their shields? If the answer is yes to either of those, the Combine might be screwed. If the Borg ever got their hands on Xen portal technology, gg.
They like money?
Sometimes I forget that people on Lemmy have trouble parsing brutally obvious sarcasm/low level satire.
