I do love the little arduinos and pis, but I can’t think of any application I’d need one for.
Also is just kind of a bummer since ai can do all the coding, there’s not much purpose in me learning it all from scratch. Back in the day, you HAD to learn that way, and I much prefer that. Everything is much too easy now and I think humanity is going to see the result of that in 15 years with the up and coming generation.
I wish I could go back and learn all the old ways, but no one teaches that now. I hate learning things the new way with all the shortcuts and bloat everything has now
For now. Until all your data is owned by the corp, and you need to pay a ransom for it, and all programmers are long gone because it’s a dead profession in 10 years.
Because companies don’t understand how that works, and dont want to pay for it. Easier to generate llm slop to band aid fix a problem and create new problems.
Its a good tool in some cases. But I think general lack of understanding of how it works and its shortcomings is going to cause many issues in coming years.
I should clarify i meant this more for computing rather than mobile. I do not like mobile half assed apps.
What is the issue if you have it all under your work account and your IT team uses something like Meraki? Im also not at all worried about my work being malicious on my phone, it’s not a huge corporation. But I don’t see much issue there.
Maybe thats why they all love their ai. They can think it’s a human-like connection, and it wont leave them because they’re horrible ghouls. And if it disagrees they can just tell the coders to recode it.
