There’s a few of them that seem to work fairly reliably, but the rest just don’t play or have error messages on load. Take a bit of time to keep hitting the ping instances button and add the ones that seem to respond well to your list.
With the way youtube throttles these connections, it’s not going to be the same experience, but I’m stubborn like that.
I just figured they put it there for some modder to let people build their own bases.
I gotta say though, in my journey to find other ways to access information rather than using the big names, I often find delays and small frustrations to get where I need to go.
Every time I ask myself if it’s worth it to not give data or money to these sites; whether it’s more important to make sure I’m directing my attention and financial support to other people and other companies? And I take a breath and endure b/c it’s the only power I have in all this.
Is 5 seconds worth it? For me it is.

Yeah I had a catastrophic lighting strike and ended up having to buy a nice gaming pc during the pandemic. I love everything I’ve heard about steam deck but will be pc bound until I get my money’s worth xD
Agreed. I’ve been lazy because I’m a gamer, but at this point it’s time. I hope the other game companies can figure out something like Proton to play on Mint.
