On storage, the markup is about 2000%.
And on RAM if we compare to DDR5 (not totally fair because of how Apple’s unified memory works), it’s about 800% marked up.
I understand that they need the money to host the videos, but I won’t directly pay them considering how they treat viewers and creators. I’m pretty sure they would be $100+ richer from me if they didn’t remove the dislike count.
I unironically use the 3rd option to support creators. I still use adblock if the creator isn’t monetized or it’s content that probably shouldn’t be getting monetized (eg. rips of game OSTs not by the game dev)
I’m being as safe as I can. I’m ATGATT and I started on a beginner bike without much power.
I have an organ donor on my license. But I’m not trying to kill myself, I’m just following my heart.
It seems like fewer people in my generation have motorcycles because 1) we have less money (although you can save by replacing a car with one) than previous generations, and 2) the older generations constantly push the narrative that having a motorcycle is equivalent to having a death wish, which circles back to the point that they shouldn’t be spying on us all the time.
I am Gen Z and I’m not fine with that. I chose to go to college far from where I grew up so that I would be independent and free and do stuff on my own accord, like buying a motorcycle.
Lawful neutral for me.
Except the toggles show up on the other side of the screen and jump around when new Wi-Fi networks are detected. Horrible design.
Wow, that works with no annoying pop-up! I’ll do this any time I don’t need internet to save battery or avoid ads
I have a Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022). Never got this pop-up before I upgraded to Android 13. Perhaps it’s Motorola trying to assert dominance then.
I didn’t get this pop-up before I upgraded to Android 13, and I have a Motorola phone that runs close to stock Android. So that’s why I thought this was a Google thing.
That means Microsoft 365 is an acid. Because avoiding acids is how you stay basic.
I hate the dumbed down battling system. Why can’t CP be a function of level and stats found in a regular pokemon game instead of one number to rule them all, and have the battles be like the mainline games?
Most of the time, it’s not the ads that bother me. Instead, it’s the sale of my personal info, autoplaying videos, and possible risk of malware that bothers me if I turn my ad-blocker off. I’ve tried several times to find a “fair” ad-blocker.
Pokemon GO hit it uses the real Pokemon battling mechanics in all battles (including wild encounters) instead of the dumbed down system currently in use. Catching and even monetization can remain the same.
I’ve had assignments that involve editing a PDF template. So far, LibreOffice Draw has worked for me.
