I’ve recently been playing a lot of We Who Are About To Die, and even though it’s an early access game, its been great fun. It’s a roguelite physics-based arena fighter where you play as an aspiring gladiator, and fight your way up the ranks. The multiple types of matches and mutators really keep the gameplay feeling fresh, and the mechanics are surprisingly deep.
The other game that I’ve been playing a lot is Dinkum, which is somewhat like a mix of Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, with heavy Australian Outback overtones. It’s a nice game to play with friends and significant others, since there’s plenty to do with a good mix of action and cosy gameplay.

I don’t get much time to play anymore, but when I make time I’m mostly bouncing between two games.
On my Steam Deck I’ve been slowly working my way through Cult of the Lamb. I like that it combines a base builder with a roguelite hack and slash thing, swapping back and forth between the two halves of the game keeps it pretty fresh.
On my PC I’ve basically only been playing Forza Horizon 6. I like a good racing game, and the less time that I have for gaming the more I find myself drifting towards the slightly less hardcore titles like FH6. Took a little while to get used to the handling changes compared to Forza Motorsport, but overall it’s relatively solid.
If anyone has good recommendations for games that are fun and run well on Steam Deck let me know! Indie games are generally more up my alley than big AAAs. I once tried modded Minecraft because I heard you can get it running on Steam Deck but it was a bit depressing to try and play with horrible load times and the usual issue of trying to use a controller for a game that clearly isn’t designed for one haha
