Discovery isn’t a bad show, but Discovery is TERRIBLE Star Trek. Not because its “woke” but because it acrively goes out of its way to eschew most of the tropes that make Trek what it is, the most egregious being the Spore Drive and instant travel. Academy was a much better Trek show than Discovery, to compare the two modern “futuristic” shows.
I am also curious if this water figure includes water for generators that are often used to power the things, or just “the data center part.”
I mean, it was like 100 years later. A lot could have changed.
Well, at least continuity wise, the Academy thing works. Because of these shows, it woukd be Disco -> TOS -> TNG -> Academy
Over the second season the Disco Klingons started growing hair and looked a bit more TNG as well, so they tried to fit it except the TOS ones.
The one that gets me me, and its a bit of a “its different” complaint. Apparently the interior designer for the original Enterprise was Vukcan, because its all white and huge.
