The core-js story always makes me sad. Sure, he’s developing an open source project and no one HAS to pay him. But the meager amount of donations and the tons of hate he receives isn’t justifiable.

The problem I see here is that AI may write code that does compile, but has a bunch of logical errors, edge cases or bad architecture. From personal experience, even though AI can write small amounts of good code, it’s bad at understanding big and complex solutions.

At that point, fixing the AI codebase might take longer than just starting with a competent Rust dev.

It’s especially bad when it’s stuck like that for hours, and you have to make a gamble with a force restart.

Are there games which don’t use this mechanic? Might be interesting to check out.

You should try that mod that adds thousands of lines of lore-friendly dialogue across all NPCs.

To add to the other commentators, it also has a task list / journal which should help you remember things to do through sessions.

Wait, how do you schedule alarms indefinitely? I tried to do this in calendar but it just displays a notification (which I can miss).

The insinuation of “merge now otherwise you are letting your users down” in the F-Droid PR is so sickening. I can’t imagine talking like that to people who voluntarily put their time and effort into a FOSS project.

You hit the nail right on its head! It’s pretty bad that there is no skip all option, and for some of them you have to manually uncheck before continuing.

I’m in the same situation as you where I often work on fresh virtual machines, and so I see this a lot too.

The performance is pretty on-par with other major browsers now, but it is the obscene amount of popups built into the browser that irritates me.

Hasn’t this been the case for a looong time?
