Yes. Many apps already do this. There is some specific wording you have to use since Apple doesn’t like when you do that, but yes you can.
It’s definitely amplified to pretend that any existing story is a “real story” or to just pad a slow news day.
You can just say “Twitter users are saying” and suddenly something sounds important. No need to clarify that it’s just a few dozen people, and by “people” it’s just Twitter accounts many of which are bots.
The sooner Twitter implodes the better off we all are. Sure I’d like folks to move to Mastodon, but really I don’t care where they go. Bluesky or Threads is fine. Some new hotness/flavor of the week is fine. But Twitter is a lost cause. It’s speeding towards failure since Musk took over but he just accelerated its eventual fate.

I do think the Manifest v2 situation is interesting, but keep in mind the Chromium/Blink engine is fully open source.
It’s a trickier sell to say they have complete control when anyone is free to fork it.
On what grounds would that trial exist?

I just bought a new phone (originally released in May 2023) for $170. I’ve used it for 3 days now and it works perfectly. My old phone lasted ~3-4 years and cost a similar price.
I stopped buying “flagship” phones years ago and it’s been great. Midrange phones are absolutely the phones people should be buying.
I also get the bells and whistles that are often missing from premium phones. I have an SD card slot for expandable storage and I have a headphone jack.
Hard disagree. The opening theme is part of the show. It’s a secret Star Trek call.
A few years back I was waiting for an elevator and randomly the song got stuck in my head. I started to hum/sing the song, quietly, but getting louder as I waited for the elevator. I didn’t notice but another man had also had begun to wait for the elevator. “Is that the Enterprise theme?” He asked? And we shared a conversation about a show each of us had watched 20+ years ago.

Let’s talk Vader.
Vader didn’t even know about Leia until Luke leaks it in RotJ. During the Vader/Luke duel is the first and only time Vader acknowledged Leia. Luke’s thoughts turned to her during that fight. Vader saw that “weakness”, the attachment, and he leapt on it. And it worked (for a moment).
Now it’s possible Vader had a rough idea of her existence near the finale of Empire. Luke calls out to Leia. Leia is with Luke when Vader calls out to Luke. I expect Vader was too distracted to notice Leia.
Back to A New Hope. Vader doesn’t suspect anything until Obi-wan shows up on the Death Star. Why is Obi-wan here? What is he doing? Then he just disappears? Something about the crew he arrived with is suspicious. Then during the Death Star trench run. He is focused. Vader can sense something. Vader can sense something that can not be. Obi-wan has a Padawan? Why now? Who? Then Han Solo fires at him. Vader should have seen it coming, but he was distracted.
Sooo! Vader seeing Leia opening? He just had no idea.
Technically replaced by a similar product with a new name. I liked the simplicity of Chromecast, but if you bought the last two generations (anything past Chromecast Ultra) then you already have the more complicated device. So if you want to cast to a device, you can still do that.
