Yes you can. It requires those docker containers to be installed and plugged into it on a stand alone system. This is exactly what HAOS is doing behind the scenes for is users and why many stick with it.

This is the way. My setup is very similar except I only use authentik for Nextcloud. I don’t expose my “arr” services to the Internet so I don’t feel it necessary to put them behind authentik, although I could if I wanted.

Using Duo’s free 10 personal licenses is also great as it can also plug into authentik for MFA through the solution.

What files from your Mac are you trying to sync to next cloud? If you have a Truenas already, why are you hosting files from your Mac instead of mapping a share directly from your Truenas into Nextcloud and working directly off of the source instead?

As for syncing photos from my phone to Nextcloud, I’ve had no issues over the past 3 years hosting it myself. I had one problem with a lot of conflicts where permissions on my truenas wouldn’t allow nextcloud to delete them, so I had a manual cleanup process last month but that’s the only problem I’ve had. I just switched to Truenas a few months ago from QNAP and am still learning the caveats of their very granular permissions but everything generally works about 99% of the time.

$120 a year and still limited to 3600 searches. Pretty sure I’m way above that number. I get they need to make up for lost as revenue but that’s still too much for me to justify. I’ll keep giving my data to a free engine.

I backup my ESXi VMs and NAS file shares to local server storage using an encrypted Veeam job and have a copy job to a local NAS with iSCSI storage presented.

From there I have another host VM accessing that same iSCSI share uploading the encrypted backup to Backblaze. Unlimited “local” storage for $70\y? Yes please! (iSCSI appears local to Backblaze. They know and have already started they don’t care.)

I’m backing up about 4TB to them currently using this method.

I’m sure you know this, but snapshots are not backups!

It’d be a shame for these companies to build some kind of cosmetic DLC priced at 10k or higher that “unlocks the full game” to avoid the charges. I’m sure Unity would just build some legal lingo to get around that loophole however.

I’m sure this will get some downvotes, but how is buying a PS5 to let it sit considered a boycott? You literally handed them money for air at this point.

I understand compulsion purchasing as I suffer from it myself, but purchasing a whole console to let it sit is a whole nother level and just adds to the entire problem you’re complaining about.

I learned about this title too late to back the Kickstarter but absolutely loved The Messenger and SoS demo. I am very miffed that LRG distributed the KS but other physicals are being released by iam8bit. I’m currently waiting on Eastward CE that I purchased last July through iam8bit and they keep pushing the release back. They are claiming an early Q1 2024 release for this title but I’m VERY sceptical of that date.

Any combo modem router is typically trash and you NEED separate modem because if you get a combo you will be in the same situation. They will flash the combo unit with the same firmware wether you own it or not.

You will want an aris modem from there approved list and a good wireless router. When you swap out your modem you will need to call in so they can flash it with thier firmware (which is fine). You can then configure your router as needed.

I can’t recommend a wireless router because I have a Unifi household and have been out of the consumer space for a while. I hear netgear nighthawk are still creame of the crop though.

My nephew whom is mainly an FPS player and said that BG3 was not for him has recently picked it up and is loving multiplayer with his friends.

As a previous player of the BG series and others like it, BG3 is a far cry from any of its predecessors. I’m not stating your opinion isn’t fair, but wanted to also give another account of players that don’t consider this their type of game and are surprised to like it.
