Yeah, I guess you could argue it needs more contributors, but sort of like Wikipedia, suppose it saw wide adoption. Is it just a learn to code type thing? I guess better that Wikimedia runs it than stack exchange or whoever.

If there’s one thing I learned from Civ V it’s you have to get your population numbers up in order to produce enough settlers
Super common in my industry, which is corporate events, not show biz
I think also helpful to remember that many have died just from being punched and their head hitting the pavement. If a bike knocks someone over there’s always the potential for serious injury, especially for older folks.
I don’t get it, does India require speed limiters on ebikes?
I also came here to say Woocommerce, I helped a small retail store set up their shop. I will say if someone doesn’t have ongoing support I could see hiccups appearing eventually if you have any kind of customization. There’s just a lot of plugins and things you can tweak. But that ability to customize means you can do something just the way you want it, vs bending a system like Shopify to try to fit edge cases.
Video game ass headline
No, everyone knows the holodeck is only for reenacting old detective stories!
I just watched the episode where Jake being nearly killed by a psychic vampire who also transformed her victims into timeless artists was the B plot. I don’t even remember the A plot. When confronted by Benjamin with a phaser she just turned into a ball of light and phased through the bulkhead away into space
I just use it for snippets - “here’s my function, how would I go about changing x?” Or, “here’s my block of code, I’m getting this error, what am I missing?” (I know, I’m fine to share my code but not company code)
More like the ultimate friend
I too came to comment on the tape. This would definitely leave a sticky residue if the tortillas are not consumed quickly.
Seems like statistically, each year a certain number of people would be vibrated to death by malfunctioning sonic showers.
I’ll pay to not be exposed to ads. I’ll also pay to support a service I get value from. So I’m paying for YouTube premium, Netflix, Hulu. etc. When a service with media I want that has a more desirable corporate structure becomes available I’ll pay for that and maybe get rid of other services. I also occasionally sail the high seas if the thing I want isn’t available on any of the services I’m already paying for.
“Hello Jerry.”
“Hello Locutus.”
How do you know what is a medical channel programmatically?
It would be pretty challenging to implement a feature that removed ads only before first aid videos.
Happy birthday! Thanks for sharing here.
Mostly unrelated but I had a client who balked at our price to make changes to their conference website (a week before the event). They suggested their high school son could be given administrative access and make the updates.
None of the events on the show are real, it’s all the bridge crew fucking around in the holodeck pretending to be in Starfleet
