As I get older, farming seems more enjoyable than dealing with technology. Sometimes it’s nice to just slow down.

I used to work at a phone repair shop. The amount of people that put Sim cards in their brand new phone without the tray. We would have to take the phones apart to get their Sim cards out.

Dude is just upset he lost his expensive earbuds.
I haven’t been to a best by since the local one closed a couple years ago. They closed it do to poor sales and I can see why. Every time you would go there, the shelves weren’t stocked. Things weren’t organized, it was obvious that nobody that worked there gave a fuck so why would I wasn’t to support a business that was in such bad shape. It was common to either not be able to find a single employee to help you with something or they would have 20 people working that would ask if you if you need help every 3 minutes.
It seems like I’m constantly finding bugs in businesses’ apps. Do they not have people test them?
And the alcohol lists never have prices which is a clear indication that they know they are asking too much money.
As a person that has a lot of ideas and no coding or art knowledge, it sucks because I know I can’t expect someone else to do it for me and I don’t have the time or mental capacity to learn. I guess I can just have AI do it for me now /s
This was easy but have no idea what a boomerang is but I don’t use Instagram. I never owned an ipod but they are easy to use.
I have Samsung Bluetooth earbuds that I have had for a few years and they work great but I rarely use them. I rarely listen to music through headphones. If I were to buy a new pair I may consider that ones from Pine.
If the AI works then fantastic. It’s inevitable so it’s going to get used by companies but the issue is companies using it without understanding what it does or what it’s capable of doing.
It’s a bad situation OP and I’m sorry you lost your job. I may have done the same thing if I were in your situation. I hope that you recover quickly. Wrong place, wrong time.
Remember kids if you’re going to buy a Chinese pre-built, wipe that shit before use.
The way I see it, the majority of Apple users are fine without side loading and won’t even notice it’s not there. This is typical Apple behavior so people that buy Apple products should know what they’re getting into.
GE has garbage company for a very long time. It’s a shell of its former self. If I’m paying for a product I am going to do whatever I want with it because it’s my money. And if a company has a problem with that, it sounds like the company needs to fix it on their end. If it’s possible to create a plugin that cost your company millions of dollars is obviously you’re not running your company properly.
I stopped drinking Starbucks 12 years ago and I rarely drink coffee. I might get a few of those hot gas station French vanilla coffees in the winter but that’s about it.
Do any of these have return labels?
Open Lemmy, nothing new, close Lemmy. Open Lemmy again to check if something new. Nothing new.
It is?
