Reading this hurt me.
Slight correction, had back problems. He was in a car accident and had to sit like that until it healed. By the time it was healed everyone just expected him to sit like that.
The real answer, if I remember, is that DS9 did not have Federation health functionality because it was a Cardassian outpost and was in pretty bad disrepair.
I might be in the minority, but I hated the mirror universe episodes. Every single one of them felt like consequence free filler with bad low stakes plot points. I mean, yeah people died, but not the characters I actually cared about.
As much as I like DS9, it also marks the beginning of the downfall of Star Trek for me. The episodes just stray further from the point of Star Trek as a whole.
Yeah just a bunch of Linux nerds on their high horse feeling smug. This attitude actively pushes people away from your platform, not towards it. If you want more people to use Linux the first step is NOT acting like a smug dick about it.
While technically it is, it mostly depends on whether you use Google products. I use some of them, but not all of them so the ones I don’t use I still consider bloat personally. Regardless of how I feel about it though anything pre-installed that you can’t uninstall is bloat and Samsung, in my experience, is the fucking worst I’ve used.
Honestly, the worst thing about these battles is the trend of coming out of warp/hyperspace/wtf you want to call it in the middle of the battle. Like, are you telling me you can detect something light-years away and have near FTL communication, but you can’t detect a massive battle happening. It’s so infuriating.
I feel like you are taking this way more personally than it’s intended. Most companies write stuff like this so the government can’t sue them. Basically, Microsoft is just covering their own ass.
