Yep. Unfortunate though this is, it’s an important lesson for OP and their kiddo.
Save early and save often.

Sometimes I feel slightly robbed when this happens. Like damn I was just gearing up for a marathon troubleshooting session and now I just get to use the software as intended?
Wait… waterfall is waterfall with steps 🤔
90% of captchas are just being used to train AI anyways.

It’s this (the service charge) or they raise prices across the menu. Some people prefer this, some people prefer the added cost baked in.
Personally I think the service charge is a little deceptive because you are hit with an unexpected expense at the end of your meal. Even if they’re very up front about the charge most people won’t be automatically calculating the 18% extra on whatever they’re spending, they’re just going to look at the price on the menu.

You get used to it
On my work computer Teams is consistently the biggest memory hog even when I’m not in a meeting or actively using it.
The lady isn’t choosing to “have her feet up,” she is essentially sitting on the floor and forced into the L shape by the rigid structure around her. There’s still incredibly little range of motion just like a regular seat, except now with the added danger of a much more difficult emergency evacuation, especially for people with limited mobility.
Imagine being so braindead that “going for a drive” is a legitimate form of entertainment that you get excited about.
Most annoying thing for me is being unable to filter businesses out of my search results. I cannot tell you how many times I have been looking for coffee shops and had to scroll past dozens of gas stations that sell coffee. It’s also a problem that I can’t filter out fast food or massive chains. Yes Starbucks is a coffee shop, but if I want something small or local I’m shit out of luck on Google maps because they dominate my results.
This is such a simple feature for a SEARCH ENGINE COMPANY to implement but I’m sure they don’t want to risk upsetting potential ad revenue by allowing users to filter out the advertisers business.
But who taught her to load the dish washer?
