That’s how fucking stupid they who are enforcing this garbage are. Word processors have for decades allowed searching for “whole words only”, which would stop these words from being flagged. The tech exists, they’re just too stupid and lazy to implement it.
I have the same complaint against anyone using banned word lists, including Reddit, who does the same damn thing.
You’re the employee? Why would it matter to you what they use? Do your job, go home.
350% increase in spilled fuel. How much fuel were the full service attendants spilling? Not much at all, I think is what that stat is trying to imply. Why did they report it as a percentage? So you wouldn’t know how much would be spilled, I’ve never spilled fuel when gassing up my car. I doubt many people have spilled much at all–and certainly not routinely.
All that aside, I like to see people employed.

In 2012 (ish), I bought a lifetime subscription for a flat $75. Over the next few years of using it, they got worse and worse with shit like this, so I switched to Emby for a bit, and then Jellyfin. I never shared with friends, tho, because I have no friends, so it was always just a pretty interface and convenience for me. Lately, I’ve just been opening the files directly in VLC, because Remmina is refusing to connect to my media server, and I can’t be arsed to figure out why.
This is the same sort of BS that led me to leave Plex. I use Jellyfin now. I know it’s not the same as Roku, or the others, and that’s why I use it.
I’m not contributing to some CEO’s mortgage to be spied on and have my habits commodified.
They’re playing life on god mode. But, they’re also very lonely. They drive away their original wives, who married them “before” (Bezos, and Gates). Their kids hate them. Everyone they come in contact with is paid in some way to be there. They have no real human connections. They’re surrounded by personal security staff 24/7. Also, Epstein just hung around the entrance to the rabbit hole. That hole goes deep, and I think we all know it.
