The American flag is very politically charged atm. Honestly. By & large the left hates the American flag, see below “I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing a B&W American flag”. They hate the flag displayed, and they hate the people who wear it.

The left has surrendered their claim to the American flag. A couple years ago there were some TikTok videos saying “if there was an American flag at their house they some racist ass white motherfuckers”.

Here’s a woman appearing to bemoan that fact, saying that we’re all Americans & all should fly the flag.

I was caught off guard when I initially saw it, but a Google search showed it for what it was.

If you feel compelled to hide the fact that you made something because you feel other people will look on in judgment, not buy your product…would this not compel the normal person to look inward & ask, “Are we the baddies?” 🤔

This has been going on basically forever. It’s false pandering. It’s technically true, a bunch of weak-wristed men sat in an office in Portland, Oregon and they “designed” this product. Then once they were done “designing” it, they sent the schematics off to China for production & ripping off of IP.

That’s the best case scenario. If it’s as Chinese-y as you say, maybe they modified one feature of a Chinese radio, slapped a couple Bible verses on the box…voilà, it was “designed in USA”. 😆

It is out of place, but it’s designed to pique human curiosity & get people to unwittingly Google Bible verses. Effortlessly spreading the gospel as they’re told to, fulfilling the Great Commission.

It is, by & large, mental illness. You’ve got people who exist well outside of the norm who help to make everything run. Doctors, firefighters, CEOs, just to name a few off the top of my head…I remember reading a whole list of occupations with higher rates of mental illness, psychopathy. And I thought yeah, that makes sense. These people are atypical in behavior, nature. That’s what makes them better suited for the task.

Not all freaks are homeless on the street corner; this world runs on freaks. Innovates using freaks. We need freaks…carefully applied in their field, of course.

I hate to blame the end user, the consumer, but yeah clearly at least some blame is to be put onto them. As outlined in the article.

To trust Microsoft cloud services & make that a single point of failure is exceptionally foolish…and they were moving all this data off of multiple old drives & consolidating onto one big one. Why not copy-paste? Why did they actually cut-paste, move all that data into the cloud?

If it was truly so “priceless”…just make another copy? Keep everything, always, until other copies are made.

I feel bad for the guy, but come on. That was a problem they themselves created. Clouds are for rain. Assuming this person is at least 40 years old (30 years of photos & work) if not significantly older, they are more than old enough to know better, to just blindly trust cloud storage with everything.
