That’s the thing though, you can get devices from other manufacturers and you can get unlocked devices with Android. Those things aren’t even options with Apple.

Apple is so locked down I fail to see what the appeal could be in the first place, there’s very little customization, only one hardware manufacturer, and they’re more guilty of anyone else in the market of planned obsolescence.

The best part is that they keep getting added to my Google calendar. I have the option tuned off in my Google account settings, I report them as spam as soon as I get them, but I still get pop up notifications from my Google calendar reminding me of my “trip”.

Do you have to prove to them that you don’t live in the EU or in California for them to comply with the law?
I mean if they don’t require an address I would just go with the process for them to comply as if you did live in an area with data privacy laws.
