Opened up F-Droid to check for updates and all of the apps I’ve installed have one. It’s the first time I’ve seen this happen. Is there a reason for it, maybe has to do with googles money grubbing hands?

Probably in response to publically announced vulnerabilities. e.g. eMudhra certificates
